Our beloved beautiful calf Lucky died early this morning at Animal Acres, in peace and in love. She was born on Monday July 6, 2009 in a Slaughter house in Chino, CA along with her brother Nandi who died last Sunday. She was 13 days old. Their mothers were slaughtered the same day they were born for meat. We were so blessed beyond belief to have these two in our lives and forever have them in our hearts. Lucky, your strength, courage, forgiveness, love has awoken in us a beautiful light of compassion. I love you Lucky and will never forget the imprint you have forever made on my life and the life of others... You died in peace, knowing that you were loved, and it was time for you to go back home with your Mother and your brother, and the billions of animals in heavenly bliss...
